The Lonely Hearts Club

The Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg is a great read!
Penny is sick of boys and sick of dating. So she vows: no more. It's a personal choice. . .and, of course, soon everyone wants to know about it. And a few other girls are inspired. A movement is born: The Lonely Hearts Club (named after the band from Sgt. Pepper). Penny is suddenly known for her nondating ways . . . which is too bad, because there's this certain boy she can't help but like. . . .
These characters jump off the pages and come to life.  I think anyone that ever attended high school can relate to these characters. I know that I went to school with people just like Penny, Tracy, Diane and sadly people like Todd, Nate and Missy.

Elizabeth has taken people and situations that we all can relate to and has turned it into great story full of laughter, fun, anger, drama and love.

This book is like taking a walk down memory lane (HS was a long time ago for me, it's fun to revisit it sometimes) and it has a fantastic and important message about girl power, friendship and the importance of maintaining a sense of self no matter what your relationship status is.

I saw a lot of the camaraderie and support that we have at in The Lonely Hearts Club so it made it even more enjoyable to read.

I highly recommend The Lonely Hearts Club!

You should just be a full-time book reviewer/book-signing goer.

I think it is your calling.
